A short, printable guide covering the method in practical terms: how to open a session, how to choose the next question, and how to tell whether it worked.
It is written for undergraduates, postgraduates and adult learners returning to study and assumes no prior reading.
Who will get the most from it
Anyone who has seen a student who recognises every worked solution and can reproduce none of them and wanted a concrete way to respond to it.
It is deliberately short enough to read in one sitting and to keep beside you the week before an exam, with four chapters still unread.
How to use it
Do not read it cover to cover and file it. Take the opening question — If this question appeared on the exam in a different form, would you still recognise it? — and use it once, today, on something real.
Then use the follow-up. Two questions used are worth more than a guide finished.
